Graduating from the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Tours in 2012, Margaux Chetteau went on to specialize in comics through a Master’s program at the EESI in Angoulême, where she further developed her skills as an illustrator and storyteller.
In 2014, she co-founded the comics collective Les Siffleurs. Alongside this, she published short stories in Angoulême-based anthologies (such as Café Creed and Marsam) and created illustrated music columns for the webzine Can You Hear The Music.
Her first children’s book, Auguste et les corbeaux et autres histoires…, was published in 2018. A music enthusiast, she has also directed animated music videos for the bands Ropoporose and Lysistrata.
Together with her sister Lisa, she illustrated the two volumes of David Bowie: Rainbowman, written by Jérôme Soligny and published by Gallimard in 2019 (vol. 1) and 2020 (vol. 2).
She released her first full-lenght comic Sandrine in 2022 at Editions Même Pas mal.
