Producer and multi-instrumentalist, Ashel has gradually established himself on the French music scene through an approach shaped by a wide range of influences. In 2015, he joined indie-pop band Shake The Ronin as drummer and backing vocalist, performing at major festivals including Francofolies de La Rochelle, Transmusicales and Festival Beauregard, and gaining extensive live experience. In 2017, he co-founded NOROY, an electro-pop duo signed to Roy Music, combining vocals, instrumentation and production, with notable performances at Paris’ Café de la Danse and the Zénith de Caen.
At the end of 2021, Brice fully launched his solo project, Ashel, an electronic universe blending powerful rhythms, synthwave textures and cinematic influences inspired by artists such as M83, Hans Zimmer and Madeon. With four EPs and several singles already released, the project has surpassed 2 million streams. Alongside his solo work, Ashel collaborates with numerous artists as a producer and songwriter, while also composing the original music for comedian Thomas Deseur’s live show, joining him on stage for a tour spanning nearly 70 dates.
Conceived as an imaginary soundtrack, the Ashel project combines electronic sounds with orchestral elements to create immersive, cinematic atmospheres. This identity is particularly evident in the EP EQUINOX, released in November 2025 and featuring the tracks “Everlove” and “You Know”, as well as in the music videos directed by Greg Kozo. In 2026, Ashel is preparing a new EP with stronger pop and French Touch influences, featuring several collaborations, while continuing to develop his debut album and a live experience conceived as a true space for experimentation and connection with the audience.
